The Paper Airplane Project

It’s easy to get involved – all you have to do is create your own airplane and film a video of yourself saying why you support Children’s Law Center.

Getting Started

Follow the directions below or in the linked PDF to film your own video, and be sure to email it to Sophia Casabonne and share it on social media when you’re finished! Download any of our paper airplane templates here: black logo, blue logo, color logo.

Step 1

Hold up your paper airplane.

Step 2

Speaking directly to the camera, share why you’re proud to support Children’s Law Center. You can choose from one of our pre-written options, get inspiration from our video or come up with a reason of your own:

View Prewritten Examples
Option 1: Children's Law Center fights so every child can grow up with a stable family, good health and a quality education.

Option 2:
When the pandemic hit, Children's Law Center reached out to hundreds of children and families to make sure they understood the risks of COVID, had enough food and stayed connected to school.

Option 3:
Because trauma is so pervasive, Children's Law Center always asks, "What happened to this child?" Never "What's wrong with this child?"

Option 4:
The children who Children’s Law Center works with are fighting to overcome heavy burdens that have only grown with the pandemic. They need our help now more than ever.

Option 5:
Children’s Law Center provides free legal help and advocacy for more than 5,000 children and families every year.

Step 3

After sharing why you’re proud to support Children’s Law Center, end your video on a “soaring” note with this final line: And that’s one of the many reasons why I’m proud to support Children’s Law Center. Please join us. Together, we can help children soar.
